A Job Well Done, Team TFS! As a community, we can look back on 2016 with tremendous pride knowing that our commitment and our contributions to Soaring Beyond: The Campaign for TFS are having a positive impact on every TFS student and on our school. With its goal to raise $9 million, Soaring Beyond was an ambitious campaign for the school. Yet, we raised $10.2 million. No small feat. When you take a look around TFS, you can see the impact of your gifts. The major projects we identified as priorities are now realities, thanks to your generosity. We have established Learning Forum centres in all four branches and we have welcomed our first entrance scholarship recipient, the Okwuosa Family Scholar. Program and facility Joint Message from the Chairs Roger Poirier Chair, TFS Foundation Mitch Frazer Chair, Board of Directors enhancements are evident across both campuses — in classrooms, labs, studios and athletic spaces. Thanks to our TFS family of volunteers and donors, our students are experiencing education in profoundly new and exciting ways not possible without your support. We are honoured to recognize the generosity of our community on the much-anticipated Wall of Distinction, a permanent and lasting tribute that acknowledges campaign supporters and lifetime giving, thanking all for so generously investing in our school and our children's education. This beautiful wall also features and honours all of our TFS Alumni of Distinction recipients. By working together, we accomplished so much in 2016. Certainly, a culture of philanthropy and engagement is alive and well at TFS. May our exciting success and a sense of accomplishment carry us through 2017 with enthusiasm and optimism. There is so much more we can do and we know that when we work together as a team the TFS family achieves great things. 1 2015 – 2016 Report to Our Community
