Life at TFS JOHN wanted to be bilingual from a young age for the doors it could open, and he entered TFS in Level I. During his TFS years, John was the school's resident tech expert, happily lending his time and talent to the sound and lighting aspects of stage productions, such as Grease in Level III, and the Dance and Fashion shows in Levels IV and V. Both a team player and a leader, John transitioned quickly from a junior role to leader of the Tech Club. His leadership skills were evident outside of the tech booth, as well. He played on the volleyball team for fi ve years, becoming its captain in Level V. John also played on the school's hockey team. For his long-term service project, John mentored young players for Hockey Toronto, an experience he thoroughly enjoyed. "My experience at TFS has prepared me well for the next chapter of my life." TECH EXPERT PASSIONATE CANADIAN CITIZEN.
