Destination University of British Columbia Program Engineering Accomplishments First Citizen/Première Citoyenne Valedictorian CAIS Conference Co-director Elizabeth Bejaoui CAS (Creativity, Action, Service) Award Best accomplishment: − IB Theory of Knowledge The Edward Tory Award Future Plans WITH STELLAR ACADEMICS, Rebecca garnered offers from numerous universities, including: Ryerson for biomedical engineering; Carleton for biomedical and mechanical engineering; Queen's University and the University of British Columbia for engineering; McMaster University for its general engineering co-op program; University of Toronto and Western University for mechanical engineering; and McGill University for civil engineering, mechanical engineering and business management. Rebecca will study engineering at the University of British Columbia and plans to specialize in biomedical engineering. Inspired by the latest designs in wheelchair and prosthetic technology she saw at Holland Bloorview, Rebecca would like to see high-tech biomedical and biomechanical equipment become more accessible to more children. With that vision in mind, she is also considering a minor in neuroscience and business.
