Laura was also one of the famed four co-directors of the TFS-hosted Canadian Accredited Independent Schools National Student Leadership Conference in 2017. As if the requirements of the IB Diploma Program weren't enough, she stage-managed both the Dance and Fashion shows in her fi nal year. Her long-term service project was a labour of love. Attending a Children's International Summer Villages camp in 2011 was such a life-changing experience that Laura has sat on its board as a junior member since 2015. "Political debates and discussions of international affairs at TFS helped me realize how much I wanted to continue having those interactions through university."
