Life at TFS
LAURA entered TFS in Senior Kindergarten. Although her
parents do not speak French, they value bilingualism.
Laura defi ned engaged citizenship at TFS. She served
on both the Arts and Student councils for many years, as
well as stage-managed two plays. A school ambassador
since Grade 7, she became its head from Levels III
through V. Laura was also one of the famed four
co-directors of the TFS-hosted Canadian Accredited
Independent Schools National Student Leadership
Conference in 2017. As if the requirements of the
IB Diploma Program weren't enough, she stage-managed
both the Dance and Fashion shows in her fi nal year. Her
long-term service project was a labour of love. Attending
a Children's International Summer Villages camp in 2011
was such a life-changing experience that Laura has sat
on its board as a junior member since 2015.
