Life at TFS MAX was enrolled at TFS in Kindergarten, after his parents saw just how much TFS students were enjoying school. Max takes on all challenges with inimitable humanity and unshakeable determination. When he unexpectedly joined the debate club in Grade 6, the rest, as they say, was history. Max not only became the club's co-leader a few years later, but also represented Ontario in the French debate at the 2017 Canadian National Debate tournament. He applied the same resolve and willingness to learn through effort to tennis, also receiving provincial recognition. As someone who truly enjoyed helping others, he joined the peer mentor club and, as band head of the Senior Wind Ensemble, similarly fostered the musicianship of younger students. For his long-term service project, Max chose New Circles, a not-for-profi t that helps families struggling with poverty meet their basic need for adequate clothing. "Responsibility is rewarding and knowing that people are relying on you is motivating. TFS gives you the opportunity to take on that responsibility." DETERMINED REASONER BALANCED CHALLENGER CITIZEN.
