Selina Wang, Bill Chen and boys Leo (Level I) and Louis (Grade 6) joined TFS in 2016, aer having explored a number of other independent schools. ey chose TFS because it offered everything they were seeking in a school. "TFS was the total package," says Selina. "It is a French co-ed school that also offers the IB program. e IB will be of great benefit to my children in high school and beyond." Three years later, Bill and Selina have settled comfortably into TFS life, and Leo and Louis are thoroughly engaged in all the school has to offer. "Our boys are very happy here," says Selina. "They enjoy the school's environment and we are pleased to see them doing so well in French. Leo is into science most of all and Louis loves sports, including basketball. We want them to become confident individuals who are able to take on leadership roles, which TFS encourages." Bill and Selina are regular annual giving donors to TFS. Last year, they made a major gift commitment to the TFS Annual Priorities Fund, which helps to support the ongoing projects that have a direct impact on our students' experience, whether it's enriching the educational program, enhancing facilities, providing life-changing scholarships or making investments to support the long-term vision of the school. As annual giving donors as well as major gift donors, they urge other TFS parents to think of contributing. "Bill and I know that other TFS parents are on the same page with us. We all want the best for our children. If we support the school's projects and enhance the education at TFS, every child will benefit." Selina feels it is important that parents talk to one another, that they become aware of the school's enhancement projects and the difference their generosity could make. "We are sure that every TFS parent would be very happy to support our exceptional education," says Selina. "We all want the best for our children.
