Life at TFS CEDRIC was born in France and enrolled at TFS in Senior Kindergarten. As a bilingual school, TFS was a clear choice for Cedric's parents, who wished him to retain his native French. Cedric is fluent in French, English, Portuguese and Spanish. With a dizzying resume of achievements, Cedric excelled in athletics as well as the arts at TFS and displayed extraordinary leadership. An alto saxophonist, Cedric was the first student in TFS history to be accepted into the Conference of Independent Schools Music Festival's (CISMF) jazz band. From 2014 to graduation, he was a Band Head, Senior School Wind Ensemble. He is proud to have contributed to the ensemble's success in the 2016 CISMF competition, attaining fourth place in the country. The highlight of his years, however, was being selected by the school principal to head the CIBC Capitalize for Kids investing competition club. Cedric recruited students interested in business and entrepreneurship to compete against thousands of participants using a professional trading platform. Despite the tough competition from top Canadian universities, two of Cedric's club members placed in the top 10 in Canada, while 14 others placed among the top 200. For his long-term service project, Cedric enjoyed volunteering at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. "The exposure to different cultures — to see things through different perspectives — will be a great benefit to me." INVENTIVE INQUIRER MULTILINGUAL ENTREPRENEUR CITIZEN
