D O N O R P R O F I L E James Zhang and Julia Zhu While it was the opportunity for their children to learn the curricula of France and Ontario through the framework of the International Baccalaureate (IB), that attracted James Zhang and Julia Zhu to TFS in 2016, it is the community spirit that makes it feel like a home to them and their three daughters, Maggie, Grade 7, Michelle, Grade 4, and Miranda, Grade 3. Engaged parents, James and Julia have been supporting TFS through their philanthropy from the start, having made a major gift to support the renovations to the gym at La p'tite école in their very first year at the school. They are also annual donors and hope that their support will inspire more families to participate in giving. "TFS is like a big family, and we know that our children will benefit and grow from being in a nurturing co-ed environment, where they will receive a bilingual, international education that includes the IB. We hope that parents and friends in the TFS community will join us in supporting the school. The more families who give, the more the students will benefit as a result."
