TFS - Canada's International School

PABLO a suivi le chemin de ses frères et sœurs aînés à TFS où il est entré en CP (1re année). Il s'est toujours senti chez lui dans cette communauté multiculturelle. Sportif, il a trouvé sa vocation dans le soccer en jouant dans les équipes de TFS et du club North Toronto Soccer Club, puis pour l'Ontario au niveau provincial, où il a mené son équipe à la première place trois années d'affilée. En 1ère (Niveau IV), il a été repéré par un agent et a joué aux Pays-Bas en Terminale (Niveau V) dans l'équipe des moins de 21 ans de NAC Breda U21 en tant que milieu offensif. Sa passion pour le soccer s'est traduite par un certain nombre de projets à TFS. Pour le Baccalauréat International (BI), il a lancé avec un ami un podcast sur l'impact de la COVID-19 sur les associations, les clubs et les joueurs de soccer du monde entier, développant sa compréhension du fonctionnement économique du milieu sportif. Pour son projet d'œuvre sociale, il a transmis sa passion du sport à de jeunes enfants en tant qu'entraîneur bénévole au camp d'été du North Toronto Soccer Club. Intéressé par l'économie et le commerce, Pablo a enrichi ses connaissances grâce à ses cours d'économie dans le cadre du Programme du diplôme du BI. À l'aise en anglais, français et espagnol, il est heureux de communiquer avec des gens du monde entier, que ce soit en classe et sur le terrain, ou sur un campus universitaire et dans des réunions de travail à l'avenir. PABLO followed his older siblings to TFS in Grade 1 and found himself at home in the culturally diverse community. A natural athlete, he tried out for as many sports as possible, as early as possible. He discovered his calling in soccer, playing for TFS and the North Toronto Soccer Club, before going on to play for Ontario provincially. It was there that he led his team to first place three years in a row. In Level IV, he was scouted by an agent and during Level V played in the Netherlands as part of NAC Breda's Under 21 team as an attacking midfielder. His passion for soccer also carried over off the field and into academics at TFS. As part of his IB requirements, he launched a podcast with a friend about the impact of COVID-19 on soccer associations, teams and players around the world, giving him a greater understanding of the business and operations aspects. As a volunteer coach for the North Toronto Soccer Club summer camp, for his long-term service project, he spread his love of the sport to young children. Pablo's interest in business and economics was further nurtured by taking economics within the IB Diploma Program. Fluent in English, French and Spanish, he is grateful for the opportunity to connect with different people from around the world, whether in class, on the field, around a university campus or in the boardrooms of his future.
