TFS FOUNDATION TFS Foundation's mandate is to promote a culture of giving and philanthropy within the TFS community towards the goal of enhancing all aspects of the TFS experience for students, families, alumni and staff. TFS Foundation is a registered charity, led by a Board of Directors, and makes grants to school- wide strategic priorities identified by TFS leadership and approved by the TFS Board. TFS Foundation also provides official tax receipts, invests funds and stewards all donations. TFS Foundation engages parents, past parents, alumni and staff to advance the mission of the school, strengthen the TFS experience and advance identified priorities within the TFS community. TFS Foundation's primary purpose is to generate revenue in support of necessary projects that enrich our students' learning environment. Last year, TFS Foundation raised $2.78 million from over 600 donors to advance school priorities. Because tuition covers day-to-day operating expenses, TFS Foundation's fundraising initiatives are essential to promote educational programming, enhance and redevelop facilities and disburse entrance scholarships and bursaries, among others. The TFS Foundation leads all TFS charitable fundraising initiatives, provides meaningful donor recognition, and hosts special in-person and virtual events for the benefit of the entire TFS community.
