"And everything we experienced about TFS made us want to join the community," he continues. "The first thing e noticed during our first ampus visit was that the school had a good pandemic response and excellent online learning." The young family, originally from Jiangsu, China, has been in Canada for ten years and have business operations in civil electrical infrastructure, as well as applications in electric vehicles. "All of the things we were looking for are here—like small classes, lovely teachers and an enriching environment," adds Shan Guo, holding baby Dun-Dun. "And we've already made friends." "Just hearing our child sing to himself in French is special," she says thoughtfully. "Because we know it means so much more for him as he continues his TFS education." "Community is very important to us," says Kevin. "And TFS is a great family." Thank you to Kevin Cai and Shan Guo for their vision and generosity. Welcome to the TFS family! Thank you to our community TFS Foundation would like to thank our community—our students, parents, alumni, volunteers, faculty and staff for coming together to make the 2020-2021 academic year a meaningful one for all TFS students, from our youngest members of Jardin d'éveil to our Class of 2021 graduates. Thank you to our over 600 donors who enabled the redevelopment of La Terrasse, renovation of the lower-level kitchen, teaching technology improvements across both campuses, investments in the master plan, scholarship and bursary support, and improvements to the playground at the West Campus. Last year, new TFS parents Kevin Cai and Shan Guo were so impressed with the TFS community that they made a generous philanthropic gift as eldest son QiDa was starting Jardin d'éveil.
