WHERE ARE THEY NOW? MARIEL VAN WOUDENBERG '05 Physician | Calgary, Alberta Mariel attended medical school, and now works as a physician in Alberta. LAUREN SCOTT '14 Law Student, University of Toronto BA Classics, University of Chicago Toronto, ON Lauren was a competitive swimmer during her time at TFS. She attended the University of Chicago, where she studied classics, and is currently completing her second year of law school at the University of Toronto. Lauren serves as the executive editor of the University of Toronto Law Review and is president of the Faculty of Law's Litigation Association. MARGHERITA CINÀ '09 Lawyer, O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law, Georgetown University LLM, Georgetown University Law Center Washington, DC " I won Canada's first gold medal at a world wushu championship for martial arts when I was an undergraduate at McMaster University. Sport is still an incredibly important part of my life even though I have retired from wushu. I'm now an avid road cyclist and part of a race team in the Washington, DC area. Thank you for recognizing the sacrifices and commitments of student-athletes." KATRINE EISTRAT '17 Engineering Student, University of Waterloo Waterloo, ON Some of Katrine's favourite memories of TFS athletics were the all-day track meets. A University of Waterloo mechanical engineering student now, Katrine has played on the Waterloo Warriors varsity women's volleyball team for three years and hopes to continue.
