West Campus Sports Domination If there ever was a time to highlight the athleticism at the West Campus, this would be it. Kicking off the competitive sports season with a bang was our under 12 girls soccer team, who earned the first-place title! Following their performance, our under 14 boys volleyball team won their division at the tournament and, for the first time in TFS history, our under 12 coed ultimate Frisbee team earned the title of championship winners in their PSAA tournament. The results speak for themselves – our West Campus students are blazing through the competition. ENTRE NOUS 12 Dash Robot Introduced for the first time this year is our interactive robot Dash. Designed to teach our Grade 3 through 5 students coding and computational thinking, this friendly robot is not only used for specialized classes, but also fun STEM activities. Isabella W. and Sissi J. were among the 23 Grade 4 students who took part in a coding contest over the November break, organized by Mr. Moutonnet. Sissi used several "repeat until" blocks to help Dash perform its dance until the trigger event was executed, while Isabella used the "function" and "call" blocks to create reusable codes for Dash. Our proud winners earned well-deserved points for their respective houses.
