West Campus Case for Support · 3 From Cathy Yanosik TFS Foundation President What makes a school exceptional? The answer for us at the TFS Foundation is our community. Our community is the bedrock of our success. You can see the proof on our campuses every day. Our students are the thoughtful hearts and curious minds that will lead a more equal, just, and inventive world — just like our incredible alumni have done before. So, thank you for sharing them with us. Since we opened our doors, our community has come together to make sure that our students have what they need to transform lives and society. Our community's hard work and dedication to the school's vision have built the spaces, resources, and opportunities that make TFS truly exceptional. Now, it's time for us to come together again. We will all help shape the future of TFS for our students and, by extension, for our corner of the world. Philanthropy built TFS and continues to help it evolve. Our community's strong tradition of giving has helped us grow and made us a leader in French- language education. We all know the challenges facing society and our young people today are global, dynamic, and fast- paced. The world and jobs they will encounter will be dramatically different. We also know that in this competitive landscape, we need to equip our students differently than in the past. Our school is doing that through its strategic priorities, which the TFS Foundation supports. But there is more to do. That's why I am thrilled to share that we are approaching our most ambitious fundraising campaign yet: "Can't Wait!" La campagne pour TFS. "Can't Wait!" will raise $40M to build the state-of-the-art classrooms, resources, and learning opportunities our students need today to lead their world tomorrow. Through this campaign, we will construct new facilities at both campuses and grow our TFS Entrance Scholarship Program. For the West Campus, this campaign will be transformational. We will build the new West Campus Athletic Wing that will house a regulation- sized gymnasium, purpose- built design studio and a new classroom. These new spaces align with the school's strategic priorities to help students thrive through STEAM education and throughout their journey at TFS and beyond. The new wing will be a cornerstone of West Campus life — a beacon of school pride and community engagement. The new gymnasium will give our strong athletics program a new home and home-court advantage. The new design studio will allow students to unleash their creativity and explore AI tools and cutting-edge technology to test their ideas in real- world applications. All West Campus students will discover new opportunities to develop physical and mental health, problem- solve, work collaboratively, and become innovators who push boundaries. We haven't built in this way for over 20 years. And we can't wait to get started with your help. Together, we can construct this new environment that reflects our longstanding commitment to student success, cultivating individuals who reflect and citizens who act. The new Athletic Wing and Design Studio bring increased opportunities for our students' health and wellness, as well as design thinking and problem-solving skills, to help them prepare for the future internally and intrapersonally.
