MESSAGE FROM THE TFS FOUNDATION PRESIDENT AND TFS FOUNDATION BOARD CHAIR The 2023–2024 school year continued the momentum of the preceding years and the robust culture of philanthropy that has been strengthening every decade since our school's founding in 1962. Together this past year, we raised over $3.87 million, which, as alluded to above, was the second-highest annual total in the history of our fundraising. It was our third consecutive year establishing a new record in annual donors as well, with 800 members of our community making a gift. We're also very happy to report that 73 per cent of our current families made a donation during the year, including a 67 per cent rate of participation from families new to TFS who made a gift during our registration appeal. The generosity of our community has kept us on target to realize the ambitious goals of our Master Campus Plan, the largest physical expansion at TFS in over 20 years. Our new Athletic Wing on the West Campus is set to break ground at the beginning of the new year, and construction of L'Atelier at our Toronto campus is scheduled to start in the fall of 2025. Both of these buildings and the spaces within promise to transform the learning experience of our students for generations to come and will provide them with the opportunity to engage in an educational journey at TFS that creates the kinds of memories and bonds that last a lifetime. Parallel to our Master Campus Plan, response to appeals and annual contributions have led to vital enhancements to important state-of- the-art tools and equipment, enriched programming and expanded access to the exceptional education available at TFS. Investments in 3D printers enabled experiential learning activities for TFS students in the Middle Years Program Design Cycle in dedicated design classes, at both the Senior School and the West Campus. Moreover, the acquisition of a new innovative playground system will encourage learning, social development, movement and creativity for children at La p'tite école, while Senior School students have welcomed a new Fitness Studio that promotes wellness and a healthy lifestyle. These projects and more were all made possible thanks to the loyal and dedicated support of our community. Your kindness enriches every aspect of our students' educational experiences and supports their development and ability to thrive. Thank you once again for your generous philanthropic commitments over the past year. We can't wait for the next chapter.
