2024-2025 IMPACT REPORT TFS 2024-2025 IMPACT REPORT 13 "I want my son and my nephews to have the best possible opportunities available to them," she says. "I wanted to give back to the community that had given me so much." At TFS, Rachel Beckerman discovered the power of her voice and never looked back. As a student, she led a campaign for more inclusive school uniforms, an experience that shaped her understanding of leadership, advocacy and change. "The environment encouraged self-expression," Rachel remembers. "Even when we challenged the status quo, the school listened and encouraged it." Today, Rachel is a leader in pharmaceutical consulting and a proud TFS parent. Her support for the Can't Wait! Campaign is fueled by gratitude and hope. "Giving back felt like a natural step," she says. "I have such fond memories of my time at TFS, and now that my own children are students there, the connection is even more meaningful." Some of Kate Pal's favourite memories at TFS were made on the court, the track and the stage. Athletics and school events sparked a sense of camaraderie and leadership that she carries with her to this day. Now the President of Pal Insurance and a TFS parent, Kate sees her connection to the school through a multigenerational lens. For Kate, her generosity is both a personal gesture and a purposeful one. "TFS gave me an incredible foundation. Supporting the school isn't just about giving back. It's about investing in future leaders." "Supporting that mission, for today's children and tomorrow's, is one of the most meaningful things I can do." For Michael Biro, TFS was more than a school. It was the place that opened his eyes to the world. "I was surrounded by teachers from across the globe. Even as a kid, I knew that was special," Michael says. Now a scientist, educator, conservationist and parent, Michael's belief in the power of youth and education continues to guide his path. His gift to the Can't Wait! Campaign is rooted in gratitude and conviction. "I started at TFS in grade one and my multilingual teachers, as well as the school's heart and motto have influenced who I am. I believe in opportunity and in the role this school plays in inspiring every kind of student to strive not only to be a success but, foremost, to be of value in the world," he says.
