1 | 2024-25 Impact Report For nearly a decade, the TFS Entrance Scholarship has opened doors for talented students whose only barrier to attending TFS is financial. Since the first award in 2016, twelve young scholars have benefited from a bilingual, world-class education that has shaped their lives and enriched our school community. With the launch of the Can't Wait! Campaign, the commitment of our community has only deepened. As the most expansive campaign in the history of TFS, it is designed to enhance the student experience in every facet. And thanks to the generosity of our community, more students from diverse backgrounds will be welcomed into TFS, unlocking potential and inspiring positive change within our school and beyond. Intended for promising students joining as early as Grade 7, the Entrance Scholarship covers tuition and additional costs associated with a TFS education. For recipients, it's more than financial support. It is an opportunity to grow, to discover passions and to take their place as future leaders. How it works Recipients are selected through a rigorous process led by the TFS Scholarship Committee. In addition to grades and essays, the committee takes into account the whole student: their academic achievements, community involvement, character and aspirations. Personal interviews ensure that each scholar will thrive at TFS while making meaningful contributions to our community. Our impact Made possible by the philanthropy of our supporters, Entrance Scholarships change lives. They give students the chance to build a strong educational foundation, expand their ways of thinking and gain the confidence to dream big. Scholars discover new interests, develop resilience and connect with mentors who can guide them toward their goals.
