TFS Entrance Scholarship Program | 8 volunteering or clubs. At parent-teacher conferences, we are always proud to hear teachers praise her work ethic and academic progress. We are especially proud of her effort and emotional maturity, both of which have been developed by her supportive school environment. This scholarship has meant so much to our family. It has given our daughter the opportunity to study at an exceptional school with a rigorous program that allows her to shine. As she begins her final year at TFS in 2025–2026, we are excited to see all the development, achievements and opportunities this scholarship will continue to bring her. — Parents of a Level IV scholarship recipient (enrolled 2020) This opportunity has made a lasting difference in our child's life and in ours. Watching him grow into a confident, compassionate and globally minded young person has been one of our greatest joys. He takes pride in being part of the TFS community, volunteering at events, serving as a Buddy for new students and embracing every opportunity to give back. Academically, he shows initiative and curiosity, joining the Senior Debate Club, the Beaver Computing Challenge and supporting his peers in math. Since March, he's even served as a teacher's assistant. Shortly after arriving at TFS, he ran for class representative and is now preparing to launch two student-led clubs: one on French history and culture, and another on peer mentorship in math. Socially and emotionally, he's become more thoughtful. He often leads with humility and care for others. We're deeply grateful for this scholarship. It opened the door to a school that not only reflects who he is today, but who he is becoming. — Parents of a Grade 7 scholarship recipient (enrolled 2024) This year has been one of tremendous progress for our child and we look forward to seeing how she will continue to develop throughout her time at TFS. With the rigour of her academic requirements, she has developed stronger time management skills and an ability to balance her commitments. Her deeper understanding of the French language has inspired a love and appreciation for it. We have also seen her leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills grow, helping her to manage the emotional ups and downs that come with life. We are thrilled that our child has been introduced to activities, trips and co- curricular opportunities — experiences that wouldn't have been possible without the scholarship and the support of TFS teachers and staff. This scholarship has given her a place where she feels settled, welcomed and challenged in the best ways. Thank you. We are forever grateful to TFS and the scholarship program for providing our child with this opportunity. — Parents of a Level II scholarship recipient (enrolled 2023) This scholarship has given our son the space and support to come into his own. Over his time at TFS, we've watched him grow into a more thoughtful and motivated young person. He approaches his schoolwork with purpose, sets goals for himself and follows through with determination. We've also seen him become more intentional in the way he thinks about his future, asking questions, seeking guidance and taking ownership of his path. What stands out most is his maturity. He listens more deeply, communicates with clarity and respect, and approaches challenges with a calm, steady mindset. This experience has given him confidence, independence and a genuine excitement for what lies ahead. We're incredibly grateful for the opportunities and guidance he has received through this program, and we are proud of the young man he is becoming. — Parents of a Level V scholarship recipient (enrolled 2019)
