2025-2026 IMPACT REPORT TFS — CANADA'S INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL TFS 2025-2026 IMPACT REPORT 10 "Making an investment in the new Athletic Centre was important to our family because it connects our past to our kids' future. As an alum, I still remember running down those hallways, racing friends between classes and spending hours in the old gym playing every sport imaginable. Those spaces shaped my confidence, my friendships and my love for athletics. Now our kids, proud West Campus students, are building their own memories in a community that means so much to us. We're excited to give them even better opportunities to grow, compete and thrive." — Chantal Duke '99 and Rob Galaski LE CERCLE DE L'AMITIÉ Their gifts are part of a larger story of participation and belonging at West Campus, one that is also captured in Le cercle de l'amitié. Created as an opportunity to leave a permanent mark on the future of TFS, Le cercle de l'amitié invited families, alumni and friends to honour a loved one, recognize someone who shaped their time at TFS or commemorate their own connection to the school. Each name is engraved on one of 50 recognition spaces forming a symbolic circle around a newly planted tree along the walkway to the Athletic Centre. TFS West Campus parent Jimmy Tan's gift closed the circle, completing a powerful symbol of the community's collective commitment to West Campus. "It is a small thread woven into something much bigger, knowing that, for generations, students will walk this very ground building the friendships, teamwork and confidence that shape who they become," says Jimmy. Together, these gifts reflect a group of donors and families who saw what West Campus could become and chose to invest in its future. Now, the space belongs to our students—to train, compete and make it their own. A SPACE SHAPED BY MANY HANDS The Athletic Centre stands today thanks to an incredible community of donors whose generosity lives on throughout the building, and we are honoured to recognize them throughout the new spaces where our students will play, compete and connect. Among them are longtime TFS supporters, Lesley Vaughan and Joe Leon, whose generosity is recognized on the scoreboard, an essential part of bringing competition to life in the gymnasium. Generous support from the family of Chair Elect Rob Galaski and TFS alum Chantal Duke '99 is recognized on the gymnasium floor—the foundation for countless practices, games, tournaments and shared moments. "There is nothing greater than seeing this brilliant vision and years of hard work reflected in the joy-filled eyes of our West Campus kids. After 10 years of travelling from school to school for sports tournaments, finally being able to host one makes this a full-circle moment in our final year at West. We are truly grateful to be leaving behind a piece of our family by naming the scoreboard and participating in Le cercle de l'amitié. We plan to make every moment count over the next nine months!" — Lesley Vaughan and Joe Leon
