2025-2026 IMPACT REPORT TFS — CANADA'S INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL TFS 2025-2026 IMPACT REPORT 6 WELLNESS CHAMPIONS Establishing the centre required the dedication of individuals who recognize that mental wellness is foundational to student development. The Dottori-Attanasio Family is among those champions, with a $1 million commitment to establish Centre Dottori- Attanasio, which bears their name. Their connection to this work is personal. "When my husband Mark and I consider the experience of our own children, the support they've received allowed them to grow and overcome challenges, build resilience and really just be able to find some balance in their lives, even at this young age," says Laura Dottori-Attanasio. "Health and wellness are not nice-to- haves, they're must-haves." For Sujay and Gina Shah, who have been part of the TFS community since 2009, wellness is closely tied to helping students feel confident, grounded and ready to make the most of the opportunities around them. That perspective comes from watching their three children, as well as Sujay's brother Rajay, his wife Priya and their two children, be part of the TFS community and take advantage of everything from travel to athletics to clubs and more. "Being a well-rounded child is important, but I think all of that is enhanced when you have a strong sense of mental calm," says Sujay. "You can study for a test or practise soccer all you want, but if your mind is busy, you're not going to perform at your best. Learning to find clarity and sort through your emotions is important for everything we do. I hope Centre Dottori-Attanasio will help future generations of students develop that sense of calm and confidence so they can really make the most of everything TFS has to offer." TFS EDUCATORS AND SPECIALISTS ARE ALREADY PUTTING THIS APPROACH INTO ACTION. "We are not just waiting for them to come to us," says Michelle Douglas, Associate Director of University Advising and Guidance Counsellor. "Wellness is embedded directly into the curriculum and our daily counselling practices." Making room for wellbeing starts with making it a priority. Centre Dottori- Attanasio will build on the work already underway at TFS, expanding access to the support students need to develop confidence, navigate challenges and thrive. It is made possible by the professionals, families and donors who continue to champion student wellbeing. "We are very glad to support Centre Dottori-Attanasio because we truly believe that the wellbeing of students is just as important as their academic success. We know that when students feel mentally, emotionally and physically well, they are better able to concentrate, learn, conquer challenges and reach their goals. We're grateful to be able to play a small part in making this space a reality." — Shanshan Wang & Lei Lin 1. Sujay and Gina Shah with their children, Aryah '26 and Dylen '26. 2.
