2014 – 2015 Report to Our Community | 1 The beginning of a new year is a good time to reflect on past achievements and to look ahead with renewed energy. We are proud to be part of this community and we want to thank TFS families for all the ways in which you support our school, from your volunteer leadership to the contributions you have made to Soaring Beyond: The Campaign for TFS. This campaign has united us around a common goal, to ensure that our children receive the best education possible, one that will give them every opportunity to succeed. As the campaign priorities and projects come to life at TFS, it is clear that together we make a formidable team. 2015 was a remarkable year at TFS. In addition to reaching and exceeding important campaign milestones, we had the great fortune to welcome our new Head of School, Dr. Josep L. González, a visionary leader and educator who brings to TFS his exceptional academic experience and international mindedness, and who will champion TFS values and initiatives. 2016 promises to be another exciting year and, when this historic campaign closes, we will be thanking TFS supporters with a lasting tribute. Our recently established Stewardship & Accountability Committee has been busy, planning a special recognition wall that will be unveiled at the end of the campaign. This donor wall will celebrate lifetime giving and our Soaring Beyond campaign supporters, as well as honour our Alumni of Distinction. Benjamin Franklin once said, "An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest." We couldn't agree more. Dollar for dollar, gifts to TFS are investments that pay big dividends. Indeed, there is no better investment that we can make as parents. We are not only helping our own children succeed, but we are also helping to ensure a better tomorrow by developing citizens who are engaged, active and empathetic.
