Thanks to You, We Soared Beyond Sherry Evershed Chair, Soaring Beyond: The Campaign for TFS Historic campaign. Unprecedented support. Lasting impact! Dear Members of the TFS Community, What an extraordinary journey we have just taken together. Soaring Beyond: The Campaign for TFS began quietly but roared to an exciting finish in June 2016 by surpassing its $9 million goal. Thanks to your generosity, our school raised $10.2 million to fund our three campaign priorities: a Learning Forum centre for each branch, an Entrance Scholarship program and Program Enrichment. Together with your invaluable contribution of time and talent, your support for these campaign priorities has been overwhelming. As your Campaign Chair, I must say that it has been deeply inspiring. On behalf of the Campaign Cabinet, I would like to express our abiding thanks to all for supporting TFS, its mission, vision and values throughout the campaign. Today, the impact of our collective efforts is visible at both campuses and in every branch, from the Learning Forum centres already open and in use to the newly completed Senior School Learning Forum. We have welcomed the Okwuosa Family Scholar, our first entrance scholarship recipient, and funds raised have enriched academic, artistic and athletics programming school-wide. These are remarkable achievements. I am so proud of what we have accomplished together. Our students are on their academic journey, supported in ways that we only envisioned a few short years ago, and our school has been transformed in ways that will benefit students for generations. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the Campaign Cabinet for their steadfast dedication and unwavering leadership throughout the campaign. A special thank you to Mirna Hafez for her outstanding commitment and support. To every volunteer, parent, staff member and teacher, I thank you again for your commitment and contribution. It was a pleasure to work with all of you. It has been an honour to serve as your Campaign Chair and I will cherish many wonderful memories from this extraordinary campaign. Thank you!
