Soaring Beyond: The Campaign for TFS inspired our community, and the impact of our collective efforts is visible in every TFS branch. But there is always room to improve, to bring exciting innovations into the classrooms, studios and sports spaces, to further inspire our students to try, stretch and achieve. With the launch of our new Strategic Plan in September came a vision for how we will support the development of our students, as multilingual critical thinkers and citizens of the world. In pursuit of this vision, we need to build on our momentum. With this in mind, we want to thank the parents and alumni who stepped forward to volunteer on our Advancement Committee. A committee of the TFS Board of Directors, these volunteers work in partnership with school leadership and the Office of Advancement & Alumni Relations to help raise much-needed funds for TFS, while also strengthening school pride and connections through volunteer activities and events. Together, with their support and the commitment of our community, we will continue to advance the educational experience for our students. 2016-2017 Advancement Committee Volunteers Introducing Our Advancement Committee 2016-17 Advancement Committee Members: Sandra Keeley, Chair Nancy Cohen '78 Mitch Frazer Marie Garneau Dr. Charles Knapp '80 Christian Lassonde Sammi Li Lucia Liscio Josie Marrano Emylia Marshall Sal Patel '04 Cathy Piedra-McKenzie Roger Poirier TFS Leadership Dr. Josep González, Head of School Sharon Bishop Michael Burke Mirna Hafez Amy Morin Office of Advancement & Alumni Relations Denise Buchanan Stefanie Hopf Catherine Kelly Angela Paschalidis Verle Thompson 18 TFS – Canada's International School
