Destination University of Edinburgh Program Law Accomplishments Debate Club Co-head Communications Prefect Senior Wind Ensemble Band Head The Edward Tory Award Anna Giles Medal Future Plans MAX APPRECIATES how the IB Diploma Program laid the foundation for his future career, through its liberal arts approach that has students undertake a wide range of subjects. He also credits his association with the debate club for fuelling his interest in law. Max applied to and was offered admission at the Queen Mary University of London, Durham University, and the universities of York, Edinburgh and Warwick, all in the UK, to study in their direct entry into law programs. He chose to attend the University of Edinburgh this fall. Looking farther ahead, Max intends to practise law, and he is most interested in, respectively, constitutional and academic law. No matter where he goes, Max knows that being bilingual will help him in his career and he eagerly anticipates the exciting international possibilities that studying in the United Kingdom will bring.
