Life at TFS ROBERT started at TFS in Grade 1. As both of his parents were committed to bilingualism, and his father is from France, they valued the education that TFS could offer. A positive, upbeat student known for his perennial smile, Robert will tell you that being able to speak French defi nes him. He was a three-sport-a-year athlete, one team per term, including soccer, basketball and ultimate Frisbee. Just like his sister, Nicole '13, he became the House Head of Volk. Always eager to engage in the life of his school, Robert enthusiastically helped to organize Spirit Week and participated in the famed Dance Show, as a dancer and then as head of choreography. He expanded his musical horizons by learning to play both the clarinet and saxophone at TFS, and is grateful for the opportunity to discover new abilities. Robert volunteered at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore, an experience that allowed him to connect with and help new Canadians. "TFS taught me the importance of community and how it can make a difference in your life. Being bilingual taught me the importance of culture." PROUD FRANCOPHONE GUTSY COMPETITOR CITIZEN.
