ROBERT RECEIVED ADMISSION offers from the
universities of Ottawa and Toronto, which meant
that for some time he was torn between two exciting,
but diffi cult choices — continue to immerse himself
in French (Ottawa) or pursue a degree in commerce
(Toronto). Now that he has chosen Rotman Commerce
and a future in fi nance, Robert is planning a GAP
year. Seizing the opportunity to travel far from home,
and passionate about making a difference, he will
spend time in Australia where he plans to volunteer in
Indigenous communities on the Dampier Peninsula
in the country's northwest. As a French citizen,
he may spend some of his year in France as well.
As for his future, Robert intends to keep smiling and
looks forward to working in the world of fi nance.
