U12 (GRADE 5) GIRLS SOCCER SHOW GREAT PROMISE THIS YEAR, the U12 Grade 5 girls soccer team had an exceptional season. The youngest team in the division, competing against Grade 6 teams, they played smart and skilled soccer. With strong, skilled players and some enthusiastic rookies, the team worked well together and at the final tournament, came third overall behind De La Salle and TFS' Grade 6 team. Congratulations to both teams. For the Love of the Game TFS ATHLETES HAD EXCEPTIONAL spring 2017-18 and fall 2018-19 seasons. Congratulations to our Cougars champions: Shakespeare Club in Action LAST YEAR, the West Campus Grade 7 Shakespeare Club was involved in every aspect of producing A Midsummer Night's Dream. They organized the Grade 3 and 4 cast members, and planned rehearsals. After all of their hard work, they put on a beautiful show and inspired their peers and parents. Music For Our Veterans THE 15 MEMBERS OF THE JAZZ ENSEMBLE (Levels I-V) performed at the Veterans K Wing at Sunnybrook Hospital last May, under the direction of David Arnot-Johnston and with the assistance of Doug Doughty on bass guitar. The students left feeling it was an honour and pleasure to engage with the veterans. 7 TFS ENTRE NOUS 2019
