Life at TFS LULU'S first language was Mandarin. Upon entering TFS in Grade 6, Lulu learned English and French at the same time, an experience she found beneficial on many levels. She enjoys being able to think in different languages and see the world in divergent ways. Multi-dimensional and multi-talented, Lulu has a deep appreciation of the arts, enjoys mathematics and the sciences, and is particularly intrigued by psychology and human behaviour. A long-time member of the Scholars Guild from Grade 7 to graduation, Lulu excelled in all subjects at TFS. She is also a skilled musician. Lulu's love of music began with private piano lessons, but at TFS she learned to play the French horn and was a Wind Ensemble Band Head from the end of Level III through Level IV. For her long-term service project, Lulu chose to share her considerable musical knowledge with the kids at the Regent Park School of Music. She enjoyed being able to make piano lessons fun and accessible. "The teachers at TFS listen to what you have to say. They really want to help you, to match your learning style. They are always happy to answer your questions." KNOWLEDGE SYNTHESIST INDEPENDENT DECISION-MAKER CITIZEN
