Future Plans
LULU RECEIVED offers of admission from Middlebury
College, Wesleyan University, Johns Hopkins University,
University of California, Los Angeles, University of
California, Berkley, and Vanderbilt University, all in
the US. Lulu did her research and chose Vanderbilt, in
part for its interdisciplinary approach, which she also
appreciated at TFS. Her university choice also reveals her
desire to find a healthy balance between the social aspect
of university life and the academic. At Vanderbilt, she
anticipates majoring in applied math or neuroscience in
her second year. She is also hoping to minor in music
performance. She may pursue a doctorate after graduation,
but she is certain that music will continue to play a
significant role in her life. While she is keeping her options
open, she is most interested in careers that help improve
the efficiency of systems or human communications.
