Life at TFS JASON entered TFS in Level I. He transferred from another French immersion school, eager for the rigorous academic challenges that TFS offered and keen to continue his immersive French education. An outstanding academic leader, Jason thrives on activities that challenge his intellect. A member of the Scholars Guild, he became Head of its Lycée d'Aristote section and was instrumental in helping to turn this once-a-year meeting of the minds into a more regular gathering. Jason also chose to participate in the World Religion Society with other classmates. A critical problem-solver, he found himself drawn to the sciences at TFS, especially math, chemistry and physics. This well-rounded scholar learned to play the trumpet at TFS as well, and he particularly enjoyed going to the National Band Festival every year as a member of the Senior Band. A volunteer at the Yonge Street Mission's Evergreen Health Centre from the age of eight, Jason chose to offer his technical talents to the organization for his long-term service project, helping them to digitize their files and convert medical forms into editable PDFs. In his spare time, he also volunteered as a camp counsellor at Pioneer Camp Ontario. "It is rare to find a school that provides such academic depth as TFS. But it is the community and friends that made it truly special." VORACIOUS ACADEMIC SCIENTIFIC PROBLEM-SOLVER CITIZEN
