1 3 R A P P O R T À N O T R E C O M M U N A U T É 2 1 /2 2 1 3 R A P P O R T À N O T R E C O M M U N A U T É 2 1 /2 2 Every year since 2010, we have been pleased to celebrate the contributions of an amazing leadership volunteer by presenting them with the Volunteer of Distinction Award. e 2022 recipient, Azin Tabrizi-Holder '94, truly embodies our school's values, builds legacy and demonstrates inspirational leadership. Azin, who has one daughter in the Senior School, has been an active volunteer since her daughter started at TFS. Over nine years, she has held various positions on the Parents' Association (PA), even serving as President for three years. She continues to be very involved with the PA as Past President, and also continues active engagement as Senior School Branch Coordinator. According to Leslie Frazer, current PA President, Azin's passion for TFS is infectious, inspiring those around her. "Azin's never faltering energy and passion for the school demonstrates how much e unexpected joy of volunteering at TFS is the friendships you gain." "She always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude." Throughout her time as a volunteer, Azin dedicated many hours each week to ensuring the PA's mission was fulfilled. She went above and beyond by supporting new events like the 'Tour de Soul' and the 'Spirit of Spring' which were hits with both staff and parents, and brought the TFS family even closer together. She also led the transformation of the PA's communication tools, helping revamp the website and develop strong visuals to promote events. "There was no task that she wouldn't put up her hand for, always leading and setting an example," says Maria Drosos, who volunteered alongside Azin as Vice President of the PA. "She is a person I would follow to the ends of the earth – she operates with absolute integrity and shares kindness and support with all those around her. For me and many others, her friendship is what makes our volunteer experience a true joy."
