Allez Les Cougars
At TFS, our students don't just thrive
academically; they compete fiercely,
embodying the spirit of camaraderie and
athletic excellence. The involvement of the
many teachers who volunteer as coaches
each year is a remarkable testament to
our community's commitment to fostering
a supportive, inclusive and encouraging
environment for all of our athletes. It
highlights the competitive and caring spirit
of our school. From the sidelines, in the
corridors or in the gymnasium, you can
often hear words of encouragement
in French such as "Allez !", "Bien joué !"
or "Bravo les Cougars." Sometimes the
coach will announce a game play in
French, a language the opponent wouldn't
necessarily understand—it's our superpower.
Thanks to a strong sports program and the
fervour with which the TFS community
supports our Cougars, we are proud to say
that French academic rigour and athletic
prowess go hand in hand.
ATHLETICS
One look at the banners lining our gym
walls tells you just how deep athletics run
in our school. Physical activi, developing
a sense of fair play and engaging in the
thrill of competition are just a few reasons
athletics are so popular at TFS.
