Each year we see grads recruited as athletes and Philip Jevtovic- Savicevic was no exception. His interest in basketball evolved into a deep passion, becoming a central focus throughout his Senior School years and beyond. At McGill University he played varsity basketball, including on championship-winning teams. Philip applies those skills, the ones gained through his MBA and at TFS, as Canada Basketball's director of analytics. He coaches the Canadian national men's team at home and abroad, including at the Olympics. "After university, I wanted to stay with basketball. I realized analytics was underserved and I decided to focus on it. I was able to bring all my basketball expertise, and all the skills I developed at TFS, McGill and Rotman's at U of T, into a career that I love." At TFS, we are committed to providing our students, no matter their age or interest, with exceptional facilities to foster an active lifestyle both physically and mentally, indoors and out. Athletic activity here is constant: • State-of-the-art, regulation-sized artificial turf Play & Sports Frazer Field • Competition-sized indoor pool • Multipurpose gymnasiums in each branch • Wellness centre and fitness room • Dynamic play and climbing structures Physical and Health Education is integral to our curriculum from Pre-Kindergarten to Level II (Grade 9), and continues as an option up to Level V (Grade 12). Complementing this curriculum is a diverse range of intramural and co-curricular activities, including swimming, gymnastics and ice-skating, depending on the student's branch. To further enhance the sports experience for our students, TFS has begun construction on a new multipurpose gymnasium at the West Campus in Mississauga, more than twice the size of the current one, with bleachers, a viewing gallery and a direct entrance that will enable us to host sports competitions as of 2026.
