The new 350-seat auditorium seamlessly blends form and adaptability. Equipped with retractable seating, the space accommodates everything from performances and concerts to assemblies, graduation ceremonies and academic lectures. Designed to invite the community to gather, the auditorium will be the place where TFS students form the bonds and memories that last a lifetime. A harmony of design and function, the new Music Wing is a purpose-built sanctuary for musical exploration and creative development that features an expansive teaching area, three acoustically optimized practice rooms and meticulously designed instrument storage. It is also directly connected to the Multimedia Studio, which will encourage interdisciplinary study and help students unlock new dimensions of their artistic potential. Music Wing Auditorium A Design Studio will be a place where students can access maker tools and equipment and apply lessons in STEAM and design thinking that helps them take projects from ideation to reality. In a Multimedia Studio, students will learn to use the tools and techniques that allow them to create new sights and sounds in the ever-evolving digital age. Meanwhile, a Green Studio will bring to life what they learn in biology and about sustainability and the environment. A new Athletic Wing is coming soon to West Campus. A regulation-sized gymnasium will allow our students in Mississauga to host home games for the first time, imbuing a heightened sense of pride for our teams and in the parents, teachers and students that cheer them on. The gym will also serve as a gathering space where the whole West Campus can come together for assemblies and other events. Students will engage in physical activity and develop practices that promote healthy lifestyles and overall wellness in both mind and body. The introduction of the new Athletic Wing will open up space for a Design Studio for West Campus students. Like their fellow learners on the Toronto campus, students will be able to use this space to create and immerse themselves in design thinking for projects that prepare them to be multifaceted problem solvers.
