2024-2025 IMPACT REPORT TFS 2024-2025 IMPACT REPORT 7 "The West Campus is a special, close-knit community. There's a magic about this campus. Everyone who comes here feels it," said TFS Head of School Norman Gaudet. "This is more than the start of construction—it's the beginning of a transformation that will impact generations of students and families." A Celebration of Community and Purpose The event also welcomed Mississauga City Councillor, Stephen Dasko, who praised the community's vision and unity. "This is about giving students the best possible experience. That's what today is all about," he said. Guests were invited to leave farewell messages on the walls of the soon-to-be-replaced mini gym, turning memories into meaningful send-offs. In its place will stand a regulation-sized gymnasium with a viewing gallery—a new home for sports, assemblies and school- wide events. West Campus Principal Davy Marques called it "a hub for health, wellness and community," where students can thrive physically, emotionally and socially. Vice Principal Ulrick Bedos reflected on the growth he's witnessed: "Twenty-seven years ago we built the mini gym. Today, we begin a new era for children of all ages." As construction begins, the excitement is undeniable. The new Athletic Wing represents not just a building, but a lasting investment in the students, families and future of TFS.
