MERCI 2014 – 2015 Report to Our Community | 7 By the end of the 2014-15 school year, the campaign had reached $8.2 million toward its $9 million goal. Funds directed to the campaign's greatest needs as of April 30 were divided between the Learning Forum project and the Entrance Scholarship program. This enabled renovation components to be accelerated and completed in 2015 and the scholarship program to be launched in support of the 2016-2017 school year. Additional gifts totaling $323,526 are pending direction to campaign priorities from a number of families. Soaring Beyond Entrance Scholarships Support received to date has enabled us to publicly launch the Entrance Scholarship program. Designed to support admission for up to two high achieving Grade 7 students per year, TFS scholarships include full tuition and are renewable through to graduation based on academic standing and continued financial need. The TFS Entrance Scholarship program honours the school's long-held and cherished values of ensuring accessibility, diversity and excellence. In addition to providing young students with a life-changing opportunity, scholarships enrich the learning environment for all. As we look forward to welcoming our first recipient(s), our focus turns to engaging the community's continued support in order to sustain and grow this important program. 2010-11 Leadership Giving Annual Giving Events Program Enrichment – $3,980,360 To be directed – $323,526 Greatest need – $850,791 *majority allocated amongst projects Learning Forum – $2,786,518 Entrance Scholarships – $296,038 Learning Forum $422,745 Entrance Scholarships $422,746 Funds Raised by Fiscal Year (cash and pledges $000's) $1,400,000 $1,200,000 $1,000,000 $800,000 $600,000 $400,000 $200,000 $ 2011-12 2012-13 2013-14 2014-15 Total Campaign Support in 2014-2015 $2,239,786 Cumulative as at June 30, 2015 $8,237,233
