Please note that Jardin d'éveil and PK students must be kept separate from other grade level children during active play, as per CCEYA regulations, even if they are siblings. Children are to be picked up between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. When a child is picked up after 6:00 p.m., additional fees are billed to the parents ($20.00 per five-minute increment per child). Communication about My Child Jardin d'éveil You will receive all information regarding your child's day through the Tadpoles App. You will be asked to communicate to the educator any relevant information that may be useful, such as how your child slept overnight/eating change/mood, etc. You will receive pictures by email to allow you to see what is happening during the day. Petite Section Your child's teacher is always available to answer any questions you may have. You can contact her/him through email; please allow a 48-hour response time. You will receive all information regarding your child's day through the Tadpoles App. A Class Communiqué from your child's teacher is also sent weekly via email (every two weeks at the West Campus); the Class Website is updated regularly as well. All sections Several meetings are formally scheduled during the year to monitor your child's progress: – Information Session during Orientation Day - you'll get a sense of the daily routines and a better understanding of the program. o Jardin d'eveil - September 3 or 4 o PK - September 8 – Parent Information Night for PK parents (will be held virtually) : o Toronto campus; Thursday, September 24, between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. o West Campus; Tuesday, September 22, between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. – October: Conseils de classe (team meetings to discuss each child's progress with the educator, principal, vice-principal, resource teacher), during which - an action plan and/or virtual meeting with parents is initiated, if required.
