What started out as a vision five years ago is now a
reality. We celebrated the opening of the Junior School and
West Campus Learning Forum centres during the 2015-16
school year, and opened the doors to the centre at La p'tite
école at the start of this school year. And now, the Senior
School students are reaping the benefits of their new
learning space.
This is what we set out to achieve: to create a welcoming,
nurturing, inspiring and meaningful space for our students,
a space for learning, collaborating, studying, reflecting and
sharing.
This is the essence of a Learning Forum, a place for staff
and students alike, where teachers can bring out the best in
our students and where they are inspired to learn, grow and
develop as well-rounded individuals.
Celebrating Our Four New
Learning Forum Centres
At the West Campus, the Learning Forum is used for
mentoring, group discussions, one-on-one work with a
learning strategist, and small group work, such as the
homework club, pictured above.
"Our daughter is a high-performing athlete and successful
in competitive dance and volleyball. She has been attending
the homework club at the West Campus Learning Forum to
help balance both her school work and competitive sports."
