With a climbing log structure, new benches, a reading corner, trees for shade and a dedicated outdoor classroom, students at the West Campus are benefi ting from a beautiful new outdoor gathering space that is encouraging physical activity, creative thinking and imaginative play. Students at La p'tite école now have a revitalized gym for physical education, co-curricular and intramural activities, as well as a welcoming venue for events and assemblies. Upgrades include new environmentally friendly LEED-certifi ed and specialty padded fl ooring to enhance sports activities, stage modifi cations to enrich students' performances and assemblies, a modern wall surrounding the stage, new lighting and a fresh coat of paint. New removable and multifunctional padding along the perimeter of the gym provides fl exibility and a safe environment during athletic activities. The completely renovated Senior School chemistry and physics labs are promoting collaborative learning, and allowing teachers to better observe and interact with students. Renovations include new furniture, technology, wall fi nishes and environmentally friendly LEED-certifi ed fl ooring, as well as upgraded acoustic insulation and an updated ventilation system. 11 2016 – 2017 Report to Our Community
