Timelines and deadlines
Most families choose to apply during the regular application cycle (see dates below); however,
applications are accepted year round.
Jardin d'éveil and Pre-Kindergarten:
Applications for the program are currently being accepted for the 2022-2023 school year.
A "Play Session" for parents and children will be held (date and format TBC). There will be
various age-appropriate play activities for children as well as an interview for parents.
Please note: Applicants for entry into Jardin d'éveil in September 2022 must be 2 years old by
December 31, 2022.
Please note: Applicants for entry into PK in September 2022 must be 3 years old by December
31, 2022. All PK children must be toilet-trained by the time they start school in September.
Application Deadline: December 1, 2021.
Applications for siblings of children currently attending TFS and for children of alumni, are given
priority in terms of space availability.
Children in Jardin d'éveil who want to continue at TFS will move to PK the following year on the
recommendation of the principal. There is no application necessary for PK.
Registration must be renewed annually by early February.
Discharge
In the unlikely event that your child will not be returning the following year, kindly inform the
branch's Principal and the Director of Enrolment Management, in writing, as soon as possible.
Please include the last day of attendance at TFS. In spring, you will be contacted for an exit
survey.
