WHERE ARE THEY NOW? PETER HILL '08 Research Fellow, Imperial College London Ph.D., Molecular Biology, Imperial College London London, UK Peter rowed and played soccer while at the University of Cambridge. He received a Ph.D. in molecular biology from Imperial College London, where he is currently a Research Fellow, specializing in molecular biology and infectious diseases. Peter says TFS contributed in a big way to the development of his athleticism and he was honoured to win the S.W. Karrys Family Scholarship. DENISE McCULLOCH '04 Physician, University of Washington MD, Emory University Seattle, WA As an undergraduate, Denise played NCAA-level hockey for Williams College in Massachusetts. She attended medical school at Emory University, and earned a master's degree of public health in epidemiology. She is currently finishing her sub-specialty training in infectious diseases at the University of Washington (Seattle), researching influenza and novel coronavirus infections. CHRISTOPHER BENNETT '07 Lecturer in Political Science, University of Waterloo Ph.D. Political Science and International Relations, University of Warwick | Waterloo, ON While attending TFS, Christopher was an accomplished all-round athlete, playing soccer, softball and basketball. After completing his PhD in Political Science at University of Warwick in the UK, he returned home to Canada, and is now working in academia as a lecturer at the University of Waterloo. " I am grateful for the S.W. Karrys Family Scholarship. Receiving this award helped me with future applications, for scholarships and for other things.
