SCHOLARSHIP REPORT 2 For the past decade, the TFS Entrance Scholarship has opened doors for exceptional students. Since the first scholarship was awarded in 2016, recipients have thrived in our bilingual learning environment, enriching our community with their talents, perspectives and leadership. This impact is made possible by the generosity of our community, which has contributed more than $4 million to the program, including nearly $2.5 million to the general scholarship fund and more than $813,000 through Class Funds. This year marks an exciting new chapter for TFS. With construction complete on the West Campus Athletic Centre and having broken ground on L'Atelier at our Toronto campus, we are creating new opportunities for growth and development, while expanding access to a TFS education. Building on our commitment to global perspective and inclusivity, we are proud to welcome our first international scholarship student from Haiti for the 2026–2027 school year. Thanks to the generosity of our donor community—particularly the Class of 2023, led by Wes and Christine Hall—we continue to invest in the next generation of outstanding young people, wherever they are in the world. Available to students joining as early as Grade 7, the Entrance Scholarship covers full tuition as well as essential co-curricular and learning costs. More than financial assistance, it provides students with the opportunity to discover their passions, build lifelong friendships and develop the confidence and skills to become thoughtful global citizens. This fall, she begins her studies in the Life Sciences Gateway program at McMaster University, as she takes the next step toward a career in medicine and research. She joins a growing network of graduates who continue to excel at leading universities and make impactful contributions to their communities. Our graduating scholarship student began her journey in Grade 7 at the West Campus. Having no prior knowledge of French, she dove in headfirst with the Introductory French program, embracing the challenge. Although it was quick-paced and demanding at times, she looks back on it with pride. "By the end of that year, I was amazed by how much vocabulary I had picked up!" When she transitioned to the Senior School at Toronto campus, she was warmly welcomed and immediately made to feel part of the community. Looking back, she credits TFS' emphasis on From scholarship to success In 2026, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our newest TFS Entrance Scholarship alumna, who was also recognized with an award honouring her passion for life sciences. GROUNDBREAKING PROGRESS, LIFE-CHANGING IMPACT
