Behind every scholarship student's journey are the educators who
encourage, challenge and champion their growth. From moments of
quiet perseverance to remarkable achievements, teachers reflect on
the qualities that make these students such valued members of the
TFS community.

Over her time at TFS, this scholarship recipient has proven herself to be a diligent and passionate student.
Upon her arrival, she embraced three new languages and a world of possibilities. As Spanish Head and
Peer Mentor Head, she became an integral part of our community's fabric. Whether playing soccer or
starting a business, teachers describe her as having a "never give up" attitude. With extraordinary
perseverance and moral strength, she approaches every challenge with zeal. We celebrate this self-starter
who speaks up and cares deeply. She is a respected member of her cohort; not only was she voted by her
peers to be one of three TFSAA Class Representatives, but she was also nominated as a candidate for a
life sciences award at graduation. She was chosen as the 2026 recipient because she went above and
beyond to learn about the award and impressed the panel of judges with her thoughtful questions,
openness and sincerity.
