LEVEL V STUDENT ZACHARY S. is an avid basketball player at school and in the larger competitive realm. He has been a three-time Ontario Basketball Association Division 1 finalist with the Toronto JCC Eagles. Zachary was also selected to be a member of the ABS Ontario Basketball league's all-star team, as well as a member of Team Ontario. This season he will be playing with the North Toronto Huskies. LAST SPRING, three Grade 5 students from TFS' Junior School achieved outstanding results on the Mathematica Fibonacci math contest. Michael A. had a perfect score, and Maathumai P. and Emily G. were both only one point shy of a perfect score. In total, Canadian students from more than 700 schools took part in the annual contest. Grade 5 Emily G., Michael A., and Maathumai P. OLIVIER C., Level I, was three-and-a-half years old when he told his parents he wanted to play the violin. Olivier, now playing at the Royal Conservatory of Music's Grade 8 level, is a member of the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra and is concertmaster of its strings ensemble.
