Marcus D. Level V Aaron M. AARON MAK, in Level V last school year, placed second for his fashion design in The Design Exchange Museum's design contest. Aaron is now attending The New School: Eugene Lang College and Parsons School of Design, in New York City, where he is pursuing dual degrees in economics and fashion design. TAKING UP CANADA'S GAME, Marcus D., Level V, has played AAA hockey since age nine. Focused on his academics during his final TFS year, he is currently playing with the Toronto Aeros, a top AA team in Ontario at the midget level. During the pre-season, he was scouted by a junior team and is looking forward to playing as an affiliated player later this season. Marcus is also captain of the Senior Hockey team at TFS. Level V Angelica B. Grade 5 SINCE THE AGE OF FIVE, Angelica B., now in Grade 5 at the West Campus, has been involved in competitive gymnastics. She started in the pre-competitive program at Gymnastics Mississauga, and is now in its pre-competitive/ provincial program. As dedicated to her sport as she is to school, Angelica trains five days a week, for a total of 20 hours. Audrey M. AUDREY M., Level II, recently took part in a four-day music retreat as a member of the Ontario Provincial Honour Band (OPHB) on clarinet. The OPHB is comprised of 65 of the most gifted student musicians in Ontario, who audition to join. At the retreat, musicians are challenged to develop their musicianship, as well as team-building and leadership skills, which they are asked to share with their communities, along with their love of music.
