ARTS An Artist's Rendition ONE OF THE BEST WAYS to learn a craft is to watch an expert at work. For two years, Remi Clarke, a well-known artist in Quebec, and grandfather of Sophia L., Level I, has visited the visual arts students to explain his technique and colour work. During one class, he painted for the students, allowing plenty of time for questions and answers, including a discussion about career opportunities in the arts and culture industries. AUTOUR DU MONDE WEST CAMPUS GRADE 1 TO 4 STUDENTS took their parents and peers "around the world" in May at their annual concert. The students made musical stops in Japan, Germany and Israel, among others, dancing in step while singing in a variety of languages. During the finale of "We are the Children," the entire audience held hands, and Mme Repp reports that more than a few tissues were brought out during some of the songs. Allez, allez Cougars!
