Cognitive Development: Children develop their cognitive skills through activities that allow them to classify or sort objects, and to orient themselves in space and time. They also learn to think, reason, deduce, solve problems and understand their environment. What are the class themes? During the year students will explore the following: ● Who we are - Knowledge transforms people (daily life, becoming a student, growth and development). ● How we express ourselves - Exploration of the visual arts develops our creativity and appreciation. ● How we organize ourselves - Transportation systems differ according to their environment and needs of a community. ● Sharing the planet - People have a responsibility towards living organisms. Students have dedicated physical education and music classes with specialist teachers. Our educators are registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators and have access to ongoing professional development through the College or TFS.
